What A Bachelor’s In Supply Chain Management Costs

A school doesn’t price a supply chain major separately, so what you pay is the school’s undergraduate tuition. Across the 147 schools here, in-state tuition and required fees ran from $2,657 to $62,982 a year in 2023-24, with a median of $11,436. 118 of the schools are public, and if you’re from another state you’d pay more at those: the median out-of-state figure was $22,569. These are federal figures from IPEDS, before any financial aid, and schools set new rates every year.

Graduation Rates At These Schools

The six-year graduation rate is the share of a school’s bachelor’s students who finish within six years. At these schools it ranges from 19% to 94%, with a median of 62%. It’s a figure for the whole school, not the supply chain major, but it tells you how likely students there are to finish at all, which matters as much as the price.

Supply Chain Major Or Concentration

Schools package the subject two ways. 116 of the programs here are a supply chain major or degree in its own name, and 32 are a concentration or track inside a business administration degree. You take a similar set of supply chain courses either way, in purchasing, logistics, operations and planning; the name on the diploma and the number of supply chain courses are what change. Each card uses the school’s own word.

14 of the 148 carry operations in the name as well, as an operations and supply chain management degree or a supply chain and operations management degree: California State University, Long Beach, Ferris State University, Metro State University among them. They are ranked on the same measures as the rest, and the program finder lists every one of them.

Earning The Degree Online

38 of the 148 programs can be completed fully online. Online tuition is often a flat per-credit rate that differs from the campus rate, so those programs have their own ranking, on the online tuition the school states and the transfer credit it accepts: see the online supply chain management degree rankings.

How We Ranked Supply Chain Bachelor’s Programs

Each program scores out of 100 on three factors. In-state tuition and fees counts for 40%, graduation rate for 40%, and supply chain depth for 20%, meaning whether the school also offers supply chain study at the master’s and doctoral level. The first two are IPEDS figures for the school; the program itself is confirmed on the school’s own page. A factor a school has no figure for is left out and the rest are scaled up, and a program needs the school’s tuition figure and at least 2 factors to be ranked. The full method is on the methodology page.
