Milwaukee's Lubar College built this 30-credit, on-campus program around seven required courses, including Modeling and Analytics in Supply Chains, Managing Connected Supply Chains, and Global Supply Chain Strategies and Competitive Operations, plus two electives chosen from Supply Chain Logistics Management, Service Operations Management and three similar options. Three more electives come from a wider list that includes Big Data in Business, Artificial Intelligence for Business and Machine Learning for Business, so you can lean the degree toward analytics. Admission calls for a bachelor's degree and a GMAT score, along with a one to two page statement of purpose. You can also take on an optional management research project worth two to six credits, which requires a final oral exam once it reaches four credits. Lubar also runs the program as an accelerated option for its own undergraduates.

The Lubar College of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee awards a BBA in supply chain and operations management. Its 120 credits break into 30 general education, 21 business foundation, 32 business core, 21 major, 12 business elective and 4 general elective credits. Required major courses are Logistics and Transportation Management, Operations Planning and Control, Supply Chain Analytics, and Purchasing and Supply Management, with Enterprise Planning in the Supply Chain as the capstone. Electives include ERP Concepts and Issues, ERP System Configuration, Quality and Six Sigma Tools and a professional internship. The catalog notes that the required courses cover foundational material for the APICS CPIM certification. Advancement to the major requires junior standing and a 2.25 GPA in the foundation courses, and a 2.50 cumulative GPA guarantees advancement.
