Weber State's BS in Supply Chain Management is offered by the Department of Supply Chain and Management Information Systems in the AACSB-accredited John B. Goddard School of Business and Economics in Ogden. The program dates to 1969, and the endowed Jerry and Vickie Moyes Center for Supply Chain Excellence supports research and experiential learning. The degree takes 120 credit hours. Before most upper-division courses you complete seven Business Foundations courses and gain formal admission to the Goddard School, which requires a 2.5 GPA in those courses. The major includes Logistics and Transportation, Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing, Quality Management and Process Improvement, Global Supply Chain Management, and Strategic Supply Chain Design, with electives such as an internship, industry projects, or study abroad. Students can also compete in case competitions and work on optimization and simulation projects with companies and community partners.
