Sixteen credit hours make up this MBA's Operations and Supply Chain Management concentration, on top of a 32-credit business core, for 48 credits total. The concentration includes Operations Management, Operations Strategy, an MBA Capstone, and a course on logistics and supply chain inventory and distribution that covers warehousing, procurement, and contracting. Colorado Technical University runs the program online and at its Colorado Springs campus, in five-week course terms. Students without an undergraduate business degree complete two foundation courses first, unless they submit a GMAT score of 500 or above. For the eighth consecutive year, CTU says its online MBA has been ranked among the Best Online MBA Programs by U.S. News and World Report. The degree totals 120 credits with at least 42 upper-division credits, and the concentration adds 24 credits of field-specific classes on top of the business core. Online, hybrid, or on campus, UCCS delivers this supply chain and analytics emphasis inside its 120-credit Business, BS degree. The emphasis itself runs 18 to 24 semester hours and requires courses such as Forecasting, Predicting and Planning, Applied Prescriptive Analytics, Managing Service Operations, and Global Logistic and Supply Chain Management, capped by a project-management course called Bridging Strategy and Tactics in Project Management. You round it out with an elective such as database management, data management and descriptive analytics, or a business internship.
